Baseball Smash
Baseball Smash is the second game from Deftouch interactive art that I worked on. Starting of from the title design and Logotype I designed the typography , color and style by myself. Before starting the artwork I sat with the designer for discussion and fixed Low poly art style for the game by myself.
Same as All Star Cricket Game , Baseball Smash also contains different types of Jersey designs for each and every level when the player achieves. I designed the Jerseys using the references of NBA and few real Baseball teams. Apart from designing jerseys, I also created texture for this in Maya.
Second reward the player gets when he achieves next level is new shoes. These shoe designs and textures are created without references.
When the player unlocks a certain level, he gets another important reward is new bat. As a concept artist, I designed these concepts by myself from the descriptions mentioned by the Game designer and created texture art in Maya.
Baseball Smash has totally 50 Levels in Chapter 1. For each 10 levels, the player unlocks a new stadium with new benefits. I created concept art for the real stadiums and stadium icons.
These are Background environments for the game which gets upgraded in each 5 levels. I created these concepts and arts as per the description mentioned by the Game designer.
Apart from the Concept art and 2D assets , I also worked as a Junior UI designer and created UI artwork like buttons and icons. As per the GDD (Game Design Document) , I followed the description and using my knowledge gained from UI architect I created the assets.
